You can change the download folder in Windows to another hard drive by following these steps:
- Open File Explorer and navigate to the current download folder.
- Right-click on the folder and select “Properties.”
- In the Properties window, go to the “Location” tab.
- Click on the “Move” button.
- Select the new hard drive where you want to move the download folder to.
- Select the folder where you want to move the download folder to.
- Click on the “Select Folder” button to complete the process.
- A window will pop up asking you if you want to move all files from the old location to the new location. Click on “Yes” to move all files.
Alternatively, you can change the default download location in your browser settings, if you have a specific browser that you use to download files.
It’s worth noting that, If you move your download folder to a different drive, you must make sure that the drive has enough free space to accommodate the files you download, otherwise, you may run out of space on that drive.
