I recently had to replace my R220. (I do alot of CD/DVD Printing, and they die about every year)
I always use a generic ink. G&G Ink (been using then for almost 4 years) and never have had a problem. I have used them in R200, R220, R300 and RX580. They work great.
I just got my R260 a week ago, and ran through the orginial ink that came with it. When I tried to replace it with the generic T0781 (black) it will NOT take it. I have tried all 6. I have to use real epson ink in the printer.
I also have the RX580, this takes the same ink as the R260. The RX580 takes the generic ink and works great.
Has anyone else had, or heard of this problem with the R260??
I just don't get it, if the RX580 takes the ink, shouldn't the R260 since they are the same cartridge?
Thanks for your help.
